It is the responsibility of the purchaser to comply with all of his or her own local, state, and federal requirements. * You, the purchaser, are responsible for having any and all plans, blueprints, etc. drawn up, stamped, certified, etc. at your own expense. Should any form of government or non-governmental body (such as, but not limited to, UL or ICC) certification be required it is your responsibility to have this done and it is totally at your own expense. Any disagreements between you and any independent contractor or dealer are strictly between you and that independent contractor or dealer and in no way involve PoolsAtADiscount.com. Disagreements between you and the independent contractor or dealer in no way constitute a valid reason to void your contract with PoolsAtADiscount.com. Regardless of what transpires between you and the independent contractor or dealer all written terms and conditions between you and PoolsAtADiscount.com will remain in effect.


  • Shipping & Delivery
  • Shipping * Prior to your order being shipped, you will be contacted by PoolsAtADiscount.com concerning your shipping options and costs. A request for payment of freight charges will be made at that time and your order will not ship until this payment is made. * After your order ships, you will be provided the contact information of the shipping company handling your order and the tracking information for your shipment. While the freight company is supposed to contact you prior to delivery, we recommend contacting them the day after it leaves our warehouse to check in and begin planning for delivery. * Your shipment will arrive in a tractor-trailer that can be over 72’ long. If this will be a problem you will have to let us know in advance and either pick up your order at the local terminal or have it delivered to another location. * The freight company does not unload your shipment. Please arrange to have at least two able-bodied people there to meet the truck and unload it. For banded pallets you will need a pair of snips that will cut steel bands. For crates you will also need a hammer and crowbar. Please use caution handling heavy objects. Metal items have sharp edges so use caution and wear gloves. * Receiving freight is a very straightforward process as is the process for resolving any missing or damaged item issues. First of all, do not refuse the shipment. If the shipment is refused it is your responsibility to pay for all shipping costs including the cost to ship the pool to you, from your location back to PoolsAtADiscount.com, and any re-packaging and re-shipping costs. While missing or damaged shipments are rare, should something occur, following proper procedure will help the process go smoothly. 1. Should the outer packaging (such as the crate or shrink wrap around a pallet) be removed, opened, or damaged then simply write this on the freight bill and note that there may be missing items. 2. If there is a shipping-unit missing (for example: the bill says you should have 2 pallets and you only get 1) then write this on the freight bill. Inspect all merchandise for damage and list any damaged items on the freight bill. 3. Once you have documented any issues on the freight bill you may sign it and the driver will then give you a copy. Once the driver has left you should immediately inventory your shipment using the checklist sent with your order. Call your salesperson and fax or email us the freight bill, your checklist, and pictures of any damaged merchandise. Once we have this information we will make arrangements to replace those items. 4. It is your responsibility to keep and secure all damaged items until such time as the freight company can pick them up. It is very important to follow this procedure. Failure to do so will result in you being responsible for all replacement costs including shipping. * Do not schedule installations or begin digging until you have received your entire order. The last thing you want is to have a whole crew show up to start work and nothing can be done because 1 part was damaged in transit. You will be much happier if you have all materials on site before you start.

  • Returns and Warranties * Inground pools, above ground pools, and liners are custom orders and cannot be returned. No returns, refunds, exchanges, or credits will be allowed on these items. Orders for inground pools and above ground pools may be cancelled prior to shipment for a 30% restocking fee. * For any other returns a return goods authorization form must be obtained from PoolsAtADiscount.com before any material may be returned whether being returned for warranty or any other reason. Date of original purchase and invoice number, as well as exact reason for returning, must be included in the request. All returned material shipped to PoolsAtADiscount.com is to be sent freight prepaid and is subject to a 15% restocking and handling charge. Only merchandise of current, standard design in new, sellable condition will be considered for return. * Manufacturer manuals and technical support lines are great resources for installation questions and warranty matters. All of our products are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty.
